Hi, I'm a complete newbie at this stuff. Any advice on the best way to hear UVB-76 (The Buzzer)? I figure I'd see if I were doing it right by trying to listen in on that - because it is continuous... but I've had no luck. Been trying the free stations in Europe. No luck. Any advice?

If you want to listen to S28/UVB-76 the best way is to listen to the live stream from http://uvb-76.net/

Andalyn, S28 is heard mainly at 4625kHz, no need for external sites, just tune in here from a tuner in Europe.

The only reason for me to create an account really was because I wanted to be able to listen to numbers stations and try to search shortwave band for possible oddities.

I heard Havana Anna reading her spy numbers about a month ago always around 8:00 UTC. I forgot the frequency - don't have my log book handy

On September 24th, 2011 I heard her on 5885 kHz at 0705 UTC. I also heard her on the same time and frequency on November 12th. She was reading groups of 5 numbers in Spanish and then had some crazy music afterwards.

Anyone else notice 5.89mHz/5.90mHz?? Spanish numbers... sometimes starts with morse code. The #s are in blocks of 5. Very strong signal for me.

What time do you get the numbers? I'm guessing the signal is coming from south of the US. I never head the morse code either.
