It seems that our server software, more specifically the stage1.exe installer, is detected by some antivirus software as a malware downloader. This is incorrect! The stage1.exe installer simply downloads and installs the Microsoft .Net framework and then downloads the stage2.exe installer - which will install the GT software. This pattern is unfortunately very similar to that of some malware, resulting in the false positive detection by some antivirus software.

I'm getting pretty tired of big companies spoiling the fun. If anyone wants to try to convince the antivirus companies that stage1.exe is not a virus, you are very welcome to do so. Otherwise, if you need to install the software, you may take my word for it and whitelist it in your antivirus software or use the workaround described on the software download page.
