This receiver is located at a site in Northampton, one of the largest towns in the UK with a population of over 224,000. Northampton is roughly halfway between Birmingham and London. This SDR uses a Band III (174 - 240 MHz) dipole aerial on top of a mast. You can hear the Daventry air traffic sectors on this receiver, as well as the Clacton sector. This tuner also works well for FM DX.

When listening to the airband please ensure AGC and NB are both turned on.
